We work with patients to make treatment affordable, and we would rather be straightforward about costs before treatment than after it.
Do you take my insurance?
Call the office with your plan details and we will tell you exactly how your benefits apply here. Eastchester (914) 268-0020 · Bronx (718) 597-6500.
How do dental benefits actually work?
Worth understanding, because dental insurance behaves differently from medical insurance:
- Annual maximums are low. Many plans cap out around $1,000–$2,000 per year — a figure largely unchanged for decades while costs have not stood still
- Benefits reset annually, so treatment split across a year boundary can use two annual maximums
- Coverage tiers differ. Preventive care is typically covered at a much higher percentage than major restorative work
- Waiting periods often apply to major work on new plans
Insurance is a benefit, not a treatment plan. What your plan covers and what your teeth need are two separate questions, and we will always tell you the second one.
What if I do not have insurance?
Ask about our dental coverage plan, designed for exactly this. We can also discuss phasing treatment so the urgent work happens first.
What about implants?
Implants frequently exceed annual maximums, so we look at sequencing and at the whole-life cost rather than the sticker price. We buy implant components in bulk and pass the savings to patients. See dental implants.
